Re: Les aventures de Malika en impression 3D
Officially Cybershadows, but people will most likely use these as a Mechanicum Light Cruiser.
In the meantime...
Just tossing this out there...

Update from Battlegroup Helios:
UPDATE
All Zeus pattern ships and the spear prows have been approved for manufacture. Mould making could start in as little as two weeks with a pre-xmas release quite possible.
Panthera and Lynx, both are now being re-printed and will be put back in production as soon as possible.
Also now in the queue to follow on the heels of these are another ten vessels for various factions.

Re: Les aventures de Malika en impression 3D
Felt that I should experiment a bit more with different ship designs whilst trying to maintain a certain familiar aesthetic.
To give you a sense of scale, here's the little bugger next to the Felis Stealth Ship and Panthera Heavy Frigate:
If you're worried about proxy capability, it could probably proxy as a Hunter Destroyer for the Space Marine fleets or Cobra/Viper Destroyers for the Imperial Navy.

The 2 main tubes on the prow are also torpedo launchers or kind of lance ?
Interesting design anyway
On your earlier picture, it seems that the part just before the gun was in 2 segments
Here in only 1 segment, I feel it weird, but that's my opinion ^^

Yeahhh
Much better (to my opinion)
It gives some deepness
So there is no antena or lance on the front ^^

Novan Elites naval reinforcements inbound!
First up, the Panthera Heavy Frigate has been re-released in resin.
Nova Elites Fleet – Panthera II Pattern Heavy Frigate
And then there's a completely new ship, the Pardus Assault Frigate!
Novan Elites Fleet – Pardus Pattern Assault Frigate
First up, the Panthera Heavy Frigate has been re-released in resin.
Nova Elites Fleet – Panthera II Pattern Heavy Frigate
https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/novan-elites-fleet-panthera-ii-pattern-heavy-frigate/The Panthera class Heavy Frigate is the workhorse of the Novan Elite fleets. Heavily armed and armoured, its various weapon configurations allow it to fulfil many different void combat roles.
No matter its broadside configuration, the Panthera’s basic armament includes two triple linked dorsal mounted turrets and two pairs of prow torpedo tubes. Its broadsides allow for different types of weapon systems which can be changed whilst in dock due to it’s modular design.
Most commonly used are weapons batteries, more than capable of tearing huge chunks out of enemy vessels many times its own size. Another popular configuration for the Panthera is to fit it with launch bays, allowing the heavy frigate to carry Javelin fighters. In order to protect other ships of the fleet from waves of ordnance and enemy fighters the Panthera is sometimes also configured with broadside turret platforms capable of projecting a withering volume of defensive fire.
set contents:
1 x Panthera hull
1 x Wing set (forward and aft)
2 x Triple turret broadsides
2 x Launch bay broadsides
2 x Gun deck broadsides
2 x Triple dorsal turrets
Model is 52mm long.
Resin cast model
And then there's a completely new ship, the Pardus Assault Frigate!
Novan Elites Fleet – Pardus Pattern Assault Frigate
https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/nova-elites-fleet-pardus-pattern-assault-frigate/The Pardus pattern assault frigate was a developed born of a need for a heavy hitting escort fitted with multiple plasma accelerators. The design is based on a modified Panthera hull which sacrifices its broadsides and torpedo capability in order to house the power core and systems necessary to feed three massive plasma accelerator cannon. Capable of firing all three cannon simultaneously in a devastating salvo that has been the doom of many an enemy vessel these ships are a extremely valuable asset for any Elites fleets.
They are often deployed in squadrons of two to four ships operating in line-breaker formations or as capital ship hunters of some renown.
Set contains:
1 x Pardus hull
1 x wings set (forward and aft)
2 x triple barrel dorsal turrets

I've been very intrigued by the concept of megastructures in space, so I've started working on a quick experiment. Note that printing this model would be impossible since it has a diameter of 1.2 meters!
Vanguard Miniatures Panthera Heavy Frigate and Spiculum Fighter added for scaling purposes.
I might have to try something smaller, but I would like to explore fleet scale terrain some more...

Work on the orbital ring colony continues. These colonies are constructed in orbit of worlds that are to be terraformed. The worker drones live most of their lives within the inner structure of the ring itself, whilst the elites get to live a luxurious life on inner surface of the ring.
These rings have a diameter of about 50 kilometers, the last two pictures will show you the true vastness of this structure. That tiny ship trying to enter the ring is a 750 meter long Light Cruiser I've designed for Vanguard Miniatures. Plan for now is that the final model will most likely have a diameter of around 80-100mm.
